Critique me NOW!!

  1. The pose is very expressive and has a lot of character and appealing for interest. The actual image for the blog is a lil bit too small I think for viewing it to critique accurately as I can only see it a bit(also in case you're unsure of how to change the size of the image...as I was for a while when I was uploading images untill I found out from Frank and class how to change it, you can just click the "html" tab when your at the upload section options and change the settings with numbers for the size of the image etc, I think it's like X,Y etc and change it to a few sizes untill it seems a good size.) I think the character has a good appealing line of action and balance and is a very appealing character as it has balance and weight, expressive facial features and gestures and has a very good interesting pose etc, and I like the video JPEG reference with the character. :)

  2. Also I forgot to comment on what can be improved as the task sheet had list and I just hadn't read it yet, ha ha. I haven't found much that can be improved and I think it's a good job and completes that task, however if I could create a bit more improvement to the character, I would just make it a bit more expressive with the "over exageration" and create it a bit so it's unhuman or unrealistic for a human body structure and pose while still meeting the balance and line of action, I would just have him tilted even more and his arms crossed over further and more exagerated more as this would make it more cartoony and "rock and or roll" quality and expressive. :)

  3. I like your pose. Its great how you pushed it further then the video reference. If anything I would push the body a bit more forward over the feet.

  4. What I like about the pose is that it is more exaggerated than the reference picture. Tilting bits of body in angles against each other acn add appeal.

The pose could be improved by making the line of action through the right leg abd up throgh the body clearer. The arms are posed inside the body shape silhouette, so it is important to nail the line of action. I see it as a curve from right foot and up out through the head. Adjusting the body controllers to achieve that would improve the pose.

    Good work Salverez.
